TOY
GLOCKENSPIEL
by Sluca
This is a 2 octaves (G4->G6) Toy Glockenspiel with
plastic resonating box and metal plates.
It was recorded in stereo with two paired condenser
mics at 24 Bit/96 Khz. The samples were processed
(mainly high-pass filtered and little denoised) and then
downsampled at 16 Bit/44 Khz.
The glockenspiel was cromatically played with its own
plastic mallets at 3 dynamic ranges (p, f, ff) and then
mapped in crossfaded velocity layers for a total of 75
single-hit samples.
The kit includes also a considerable number of (up and
down) glissandi played at different speeds and strenghts
and a couple of Fx. These samples were not normalized
to preserve the natural dynamic of the instrument.

FEATURES
• 44 Khz, 16 Bit stereo samples
• 75 single hits samples
• 59 up/down glissandi (including 4 fx)
• Natural decay, no loops (except for 2 fx)
• 3 velocity crossfades (p, f, ff)
