The instrument produces deep, grating metallic groans, fantastic for using as soundscapes. Ideally the samples should be subjected to some kind of processing (e.g. very heavy reverb, spectral filtering,etc), but have been left dry in the kit, so the user can apply their own effects.
For the demo a reverb has been applied to the violimba samples, but no other processing. It also features my waterphone_hits kit.
