This package contains 5 kits; 1 drum kit and 4 synth kits
The main kit in this package is a collection of 72 drum and percussion samples recorded from a Commodore 64 computer. The main piece of software that was used to create the sounds was the Prophet64 cartridge.
I also used other C64 software to create the sounds including 'Digital Drummer', 'Kawasaki Music', and 'Music Master'.
There are 8 groups in the kit giving the user more control over different sections, i have added an amp envelope for each group. The kit sounds are varied incorporating Commodore 64 synthesis and sampling to great effect.
I also multisampled the Commodore 64's raw waveforms using the famous 'Music Maker' software (it comes with a mini-keyboard overlay for the c64!) and created an instrument for each waveform. Each instrument (Sawtooth, Sine, Square, and Pulse) has its own amp envelope and filter envelope.
